Housemade Brioche French Toast
Some of the best French toast I've ever had, and I make it a point to order French today just about everywhere we go.
Achiote Grilled Pork Loin
This was one of the most tender pieces of Pork Loins I had ever had. It fell off the bone and the flavoring can not be brought to justice with words. It tasted of care and time brought by a chef who you know truly cares about the art of cooking. I am glad I chose to eat the Achilles Grilled Pork Loins at Communal.
Chai Spiced Panna Cotta
The gingerbread had a strong ginger flavor. It was a fantastic counterpoint to the subtlety of the panna cotta, which was creamy and light. The sweetness wasn't overpowering, but elegant and mild.
Spring Lake Trout
So delicious. Delicate and subtle flavor but went perfectly with the greens and roasted sweet potato. Delightful dinner.
Butterscotch Pudding
I couldn’t stop commenting on how incredible this dessert was — we eat out often and try all the “bougie” places and this was hands down one of my top favorites!
Jerk Bison Kebab
While I could rave about the jerk bison kebab (which is most certainly worth raving about!) I also want to give a shout-out to Devin, who is a fantastic waiter and a good sport (for putting up with some rowdy parties, mine included.) Thanks, Communal, for a great time as always. It's good to finally be traveling for work again.
Brussels Sprouts
I can't say that I've ever liked brussel sprouts, but they way they are prepared here is amazing!
Brussels Sprouts
Came here for the first time and it was amazing! Did not disappoint. Let's start with the rolls. Perfectly warm and also the right amount of crunchy on the outside, served with Irish cream butter. Every dish was a flavor explosion. The citrus beet salad, the Brussels sprouts... I could have been happy finishing my meal there. We shared the hangar steak which was perfectly prepared and salted, and then enjoyed the sweet potato, carrot medley and chorizo cornbread. Not inexpensive, but great for a place to celebrate a special occasion, and the value was definitely there!
Balsamic Marinated Flank Steak
Where do I even begin? I've eaten all over Utah and this is the best restaurant in Utah. It's a small intimate restaurant that features a farm to table menu. The menu changes so you know just by that the chefs/owner/etc put in a lot of thought in the food. I cannot begin to describe the flavors that each meal here has. You genuinely can order anything off the menu and expect it to taste so flipping good and so flipping fresh. I've been here multiple times and every time it just gets better and better. Did I mention they also have brunch on Saturdays? Best brunch you'll have in your life, go ahead and make reservations for that on top of the dinner reservations (I recommend the French toast and fried chicken). The vibe in here is so cute and personal. They have a few number of tables that make this place feel very cozy and comforting. I definitely recommend taking a date here or an old good friend to catch up and munch on some good food. Seriously order anything on the menu and you'll love what you get.
Roasted Beet and Citrus Salad
Delicious! I couldn't get enough.
